Interest free payment arrangements and
activity statement payment deferrals for small businesses

The Tax Office has introduced new measures to help small businesses with an annual turnover of less than $2 million that are struggling to manage their tax payment obligations in the current economic climate. These are:

  • 12 month general interest charge (GIC) free payment arrangements, and
  • deferred activity statement payment due dates.
